Today, Ms Katie Hall MP Member for Footscray has visited our Footscray Campus. Upon arrival, Ms Hall was greeted by our CEO Mr Sachin Yonzon who introduced her to his executive team. Mr Yonzon then presented to Ms Hall about the history of Central Australian College (CAC), the educational services it provides and the plans of the organisation. A key message of his presentation was that Victoria and Footscray are excellent destinations for international students and CAC is doing its part by providing quality education to international students. He further noted that CAC is keen to work with Ms Hall to welcome more international students to Victoria and Footscray. Ms Hall replied that her office had assisted international students with accommodation and other queries. Ms Hall further stated that she will work with CAC to help international students to settle well in Footscray and elsewhere in Victoria.
Ms Hall asked questions and participated in productive discussions with staff about CAC’s welfare support services to international students. Mr Tuladhar guided a tour of the campuses’ facility and it included a visit to the workshops, training rooms and support services quarters.
